UAE launches the AI-powered UAE Skills Platform, built on Whiteshield technology

The UAE has launched the UAE Skills Platform, an AI-powered national system that connects education to the future of work. Rolled out by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation, under the direction of the UAE Education, Human Development and Community Development Council, it is among the first platforms in the region to link labour-market data with the education ecosystem through a single, AI-steered model.

The platform is built on Whiteshield’s Quantum Navigator and Quantum LEAP technology: forecasting the skills the economy will need, mapping jobs to qualifications, and translating labour-market signals into clear academic and career pathways.

Steered by artificial intelligence, the platform analyses jobs, skills and required qualifications, and forecasts how the labour market will change. It gives each audience a tailored view:

  • Students explore specializations, choose academic tracks, and receive skill recommendations aligned to real demand.
  • Educational institutions assess how well their programs match labour-market needs.
  • Employers identify the skills they need and plan their workforce with confidence.
  • Policymakers ground education and labour policy in real-world data.

Its services extend to graduates and employees through lifelong learning and specialized certifications. Individuals can register on the App Store and Google Play under “UAE Skills”, or through the official website.

Dr. Abdulrahman bin Abdulmanan Al Awar, Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation and Acting Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, said:

The UAE Skills Platform represents a strategic step towards strengthening integration between the education ecosystem and the labour market through a unified, data-driven national framework. It contributes to reducing the gap between education outcomes and economic sector needs and supports the development of academic programs aligned with future requirements.

H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Chairman of the Education, Human Development and Community Development Council, affirmed that human development is a fundamental pillar in advancing the country’s growth agenda, and pointed to the importance of aligning skills development with national investment in priority sectors.
