Whiteshield powers the UAE's upgraded Edu Hub university admissions platform
The UAE has launched an upgraded version of Edu Hub, its national university registration and admissions platform, powered by Whiteshield technology. Rolled out by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, the AI-powered platform guides students through their higher-education journey: from exploring academic programmes to submitting applications and tracking admission decisions.
Built on Whiteshield’s technology, Edu Hub brings together data from both the school and higher-education systems, so students can make informed choices about their academic future and institutions can manage admissions on a single, data-driven platform.
The new version introduces a simpler interface and dedicated dashboards for students, schools and higher-education institutions, cutting procedures and improving the overall admissions experience. It forms part of the UAE’s Zero Government Bureaucracy programme.
Her Excellency Amani Al Bannai, Assistant Undersecretary for the Support Services Sector and Acting Assistant Undersecretary for Higher Education Operations at MoHESR, said:
The upgraded platform allows students to easily update and modify their applications while simplifying admission procedures. We continue to work with our partners to use modern technology and integrated data to improve the student journey at every stage.
